Home school
Well we have finally decided to take the plunge and buy the full Sonlight cirriculum for this next year it will be Lexi's first true year. We did the Dystar reading learn to read in 100 easy lessons last year as a preschool cirriculum. I am really excited about Sonlight's literature based approach. We will keep you posted on how it goes.

I don't think so. You did recomend the Dystar learn to read in 100 easy lessons, which has been a great success. I am not sure where Cyndi learned about Sonlight ut we ordered the catalog and really fell in love with premise. What did you do last year for K? Our intention is to try to teach Lexie and Eli at the same time with this one. it looks like that should be quite feasible. I get the impressions alot of HS families are put off by the length of instruction time that Sonlight requires. Our society just simply does not value reading much anymore. I noticed on your 43 things you were going to try to quit watching TV how is that going. We got rid of ours about a year ago. I would never go back to having one in the house.
