American Politics
Ok so the American Electorate is all out of shape about a republican congress man from Florida hitting on teenage boys. I get the outrage but I have to wonder why the same exact scandal with a democratic congressman eight years ago did not get the same response. So then today in response to the airplane crash in New York reporters are asking about the US response and we get this answer. Richard Aboulafia, a defense analyst with the Teal Group. "Unfortunately it falls in the category of traffic accident rather than terror." Now if I hear one more democrats argue that the bush administration is "politicized" the war I am going to scream. It seems to me the only thing that makes the Dems happy are high gas prices, high poverty, high US body counts in Iraq, and successful domestic terroist attacks. Let me be the first to hand you a tissue and say I am sorry your disappointed that the New York Yankee's pitcher was not a terrorist. Although Steibreiner might debate that.

Perhaps it will make you feel good to see this head line?
"Air America Radio Files for Chapter 11"
I honestly don't remember the pedophilic Democrat. Please remind?
And i think the "Unfortunately" was a grammatical mistake instead of a moral one... it seems more likely that he was attempting to describe the "traffic accident" as "unfortunate" instead of the lack of terrorism. Although i do tend to expect people to be more stupid than malicious, so i could be wrong.
Jeff,
I would have to agree with you here.
Welcome Tina, yes Jefe that is the TINA. As for Air America it makes me no difference if they continue to exist or not as I am convinced the swayable portion of the American electorate does not listen to talk radio. As for the comment being accidental I agree that will be the take of the democratic party however I think it is a beautiful example of Freud's theories of unconscious impulses slipping into the conscious mind. There is no doubt that the Dems are praying for another attack on US soil prior to November. Jeff as for you not remembering the Democratic Representative hitting on White house pages back in the 90's, that makes my point perfectly well.
Don't get confused I am no fan of GWB but when compared to the death to all things Christian alternative I am not sure what choice we have.
Noone is praying for an attack on U.S. soil except maybe the U.S. GOVERNMENT!!! You know they are the ones that demolished the twin towers and building 7.
Who was the Dem rep? Tell us a story, Alex. :)
Sigh! Things are a mess arn't they? Some days I wish women still couldn't vote, so I could run and hide from politics, but then I come to my senses and realize it is better to have a choice between the lesser of a few bad politians than having no choice at all. I must say I have never been less than a month away from a gubernatorial election, without knowing who I will vote for, with some relative certainty. I only know that there are 2 of the candidates that I will NOT vote for and that is the Dem and The Rep. Wow, I don’t rember the last time I voted for an independent on any election? Kind of weird for me.
Wow! What a post. You must get a lot of ugly remarks to this one.
I totally agree on the Dem's praying for a terrorist attack. They are just out there praying that GWB fails in his approach to protecting the nation, that way they can swoop in and "fix" his mess.
I also agree on not being "all for" GWB, but he's the lesser of the two evils. My only concern is who's next. I mean, how do rep's compete agains Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama?
I think Hillary is simple. She has such a polarizing effect on the Republican base. Now Barak is another issue. He reminds me so much of Joel Osteen. Just as smooth as honey. However I like to think the American public is smart enough not to elect a pure socalist to power.
As for the Govenors race. Tina I am not sure how you can vote for Kinky or Carol as both have proven themselves incompetent. My only beef with Bell is that he is pro-choice.
Jeff I will answer you in a posting as soon as I have time to finish it.
Like I said, I don't like any of them. I still need to completely inform myself on all of the issues. So far I have only heard what makes the news and some radio talk shows. I totaly missed the debate.
I guess my thinking is, I am not thrilled with who is in office so a change can't hurt right? It worked for Parcels and the Cowboys' last night didn't? Oh, yeah that didn't work out so well afterall. humm .. .maybe I SHOULD re-think this. ;)
Oh and there is one more guy in the governor’s race for Texas. James Werner, a Libertarian. I don't know anything about him, though.

Wow.
Very compelling information in this documentary. I hate conspiracy theories. They put me in a questioning mode. I no longer just accept things as they're presented. I can imagine all kinds of conspiracies.
This conspiracy, however, has a lot of good data showing how the US government could be involved in the events of 9/11/01.
Now I've got to put my blinders on and go to work. A curse on all conspiracies and unknown truths. My brain hurts.
